Customer Reviews:

fun but short By A Customer
It's a fun game and all but it's short. I'm kind of disapointed it only lasted four or five hours. I got the game thinking it was the same as the wii version. Turns out it wasn't made by the same people. They didn't even change the description on Amazon. There's no multiplayer. Also, when you fail you have to restart the level and the levels are fairly long. You can't stop in the middle of a level or it won't save. Over all I'm pretty unhappy. If you want it get it, but know it's short and not the same as the wii version.

Dawn of the Dragon ds By Rachel Higgins
This game is too short, and has an average difficulty level. Spyro and Cynder are both playable and can be exchanged instantaneously in the gameplay. The graphics are poor to averagedepending on what stage you are on, and the game is two-dimensional. They use melee moves to fight enemies, and their breath attacks are upgradeable. Spyro uses fire, ice, electricity, and earth elemental breaths, while Cynder uses shadow, fear, poison, and wind elemental breaths. In the flying and boss stages Spyro shoots fireballs, and Cynder uses a poison stream and they both dodge. The boss stages often have falling obstacles that are difficult to dodge because of the fact that they usually appear right before they hit you. Despite this, bosses still do not take forever to beat. The storyline is like the Wii version, though it is not as clear because of the graphics. I suggest the Wii version.

I don't like the side-view of this game. I thought I wouldn't mind it but I was wrong. I won't discourage others from playing it but I suppose I just love the originals.
