Customer Reviews:

Works very well By Patrik Lundin
I do not use it in gaming very often, I primarily use it with an adapter to skype/mumble/ventrilo/google voice/etc in an often somewhat noisy environment. It's been working great. The people I talk to who formerly would have trouble hearing me on a regular headset have all mentioned that I come across much clearer than before and the outside noise of the room isn't spilling over into the conversation. I can also talk much quieter than I could with a headset or regular microphone which bothers those around me less. The earpiece can sometimes be a little hard to hear if the noise level is too high, but it still usually works pretty well and if it doesn't I just put on a pair of regular headphones and continue just using it as a mic.

I don't know how well the push to talk works as I've never actually used it, but as a microphone/earpiece it works splendidly. In addition to the other benefits, the mic is very non-intrusive during video chats compared to a headset - the only thing less in the way would be an external microphone which could never match the speech quality this gives. I'm not sure it's exactly military grade (having used actual paste-on army mics those were perhaps a little better) but on the other hand it's very easy to put on/take off and much less of a hassle in general. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone often holding conversations in rooms with other noise going on.
