This was my brothers Christmas gift and he is playing it right now. He is very happy. I've always wanted to play, but didn't like the idea of paying and going to weekly classes. This game works like guitar hero/rock band. The best part is that as you are having fun with the game, you are learning how to play an actual guitar (not just a controller that looks like a guitar). Its much easier to pick up the guitar at home and turn on the game... especially if I have 15 minutes here and there. I am very satisfied!
