Product Description:
Give your aerobic workout an extra boost with the Universal Aerobic Step System for the Wii Fit Balance Board, PlayStation Move, and Xbox 360 Kinect. The Universal Aerobic Step System functions as a 2 leveled aerobic step for the PlayStation Move and Xbox 360 Kinect, but also elevates your Wii Fit Balance Board to a full 4 inches, a standard height for actual step aerobics. The platform adjusts to two different height levels with ease. By either placing the step flat horizontally or turning it on its side vertically, the step height is taken from 3 to 6 inches in height. For a secure grip the platform has rubber pads on the bottom and both sides. With the Universal Aerobic Step System you’ll be performing step aerobics exercises just like you would at the gym, but with out the expensive membership.

Customer Reviews:
Works well, competitively priced, no instructions. By Gee
This thing works pretty well. It's surprising how much a small, 4" difference can increase the difficulty of a step exercise. I was going to just make something that had a 2" increase, but the Wii balance board is just a bit large, and since I'm putting all my body weight on the thing, I figured I'd just buy something manufactured to fit. In retrospect, I'm satisfied that I did.
Some notes:
1. This stand is made to be used with the Wii balance board or as a stand alone product for someone working out in an actual class, or to a DVD or whatever. There are pictures on the box (but no instructions in the box) of the possible configurations of the unit, but despite pictures it took me a moment to realize the obvious: you don't need the large, flat "board" at all if you're putting the balance board on the thing. Since that's likely the only way I'm going to use this thing, that piece is likely going to go to waste. I put it away. Maybe someday I'll use it. Other, comparably priced units, don't have that piece at all, so it's either a bonus or extraneous. You decide.
2. Other stands for the balance board have a few weird features like a drawer or whatever. This one is basic, and just meant to raise the board. I prefer that, but again: you decide.
3. I like that it goes from 4-6". Planning on future challenges and improvement is something I always go for.
4. Some folks reviewing other stands for their balance boards have complained that the board no longer reports accurate weight information when on the platform. (In some exercise programs you'll get a message that your weight has changed, or asking if you're standing on the board properly.) I have not had that problem with this unit so far. I don't think wear and tear will make that happen.
5. It's black. I like that. My Wii is black, and I have a black cover for my board, so that works for me. I think it looks a little weird without the black cover on the board, though. They make gray stands and black ones, but I haven't seen a white one. "The look" of the thing does not, of course, affect the exercise, but it would be nice if they made a white version for folks who wanted to keep the theme of their Wii setup going.
6. It does creak a little when moving laterally on and off the board. I don't think this will be a problem. Short of a much more seriously engineered piece of equipment, I don't think there's much of a way to avoid that little squeak.Perfect, with or without the Wii ... By Roberta Karchner
My daughter has a Wii fitness program, so when I was offered a complimentary sample, I immediately thought she would enjoy the extra workout. I was surprised when she told me she had actually been considering buying one.
When the box arrived, however, she was in the middle of a move and it sat under my television waiting for all to happen on her end. Till I got word from my doctor that I needed to get off my duff and move around a little. That's when I discovered that while this is intended to work with your step Computer system OR on your own. That's the nicest part about it being universal.
She has finally set up her Wii again and is as happy with it as I was. So, five stars.Adds some challenge to aerobic step-up routines ... By D. Fowler
A lot of people are opting to forgo the expensive gym memberships and have decided to do their workouts at home. This is a perfect option for those who want to challenge themselves when they do aerobic step-ups. Instead of just a simple step-up you can really get a workout when you raise the bar so to speak. I tried this one with the Wii fit balance board, which does not come with this system. You're just looking at the platform.
This platform is ultra-easy to set up. It can be adjusted from three to six inches high or can be left as a standard aerobic platform. I tried this one with the Wii Fit Plus (software). There are plenty of ways to use this system, even without using the Wii fit balance board. You can do aerobic step-ups using your own routine or with other software. I found plenty of routines on YouTube, which always seems to have a nice variety of videos.
This is a really solid platform (plastic), but am not sure as to how much weight it will hold. It's obviously not meant to jump on, but with a reasonably sensible workout it should work for most people. I definitely like it and the fact that I can either tailor my own routine or use a ready-made one. It's a perfect option for anyone who wants to do aerobic step-ups and wants a challenge.
