Customer Reviews:
Great game improves slightly on 2K12 By BBBBBBBBBBB
2K12 and 2K13 are far and away the best two basketball games I ever played. I think the graphics are better in 2K13 and Durant no longer has grey hair. I like that they added the dream team and current usa basketball team so you can watch that match-up play out. Game play is slightly better than 2k12. They changed it so the right stick does dribble moves and you have to hold L trigger to shoot. You can change it back to holding L trigger to dribble and just right stick or x to shoot if you prefer. I feel like shooting is to easy. Once you figure it out, with any star you can hit 8-9 out of 10 3 pointers no matte how good the defense is. The passing improved; adding a bounce pass if your holding the L trigger and the alley opp no longer flies out of bounce if you throw one when your player stops his cut. A lot of times you can still recover the ball. You can also throw a lob into the post. I think the passing was the biggest improvement. I feel like the offense has slightly more advantage than 2k12, its hard to intentionally foul a player once there going to dunk where before you could send them to the line. All in all I think they made improvements over 2k12, that being sad I do know people that prefer 12 slightly, but agree that they did improve on the graphics and passing, however feel the shooting is too easy to the point we turned it down to make it more realistic.
The My Player mode is fun, but takes forever to build up your player. I never played it previously so I can't compare it to anything.
Finally, I wouldn't recommend the dynasty edition over the standard unless you have money to waste or are a die hard NBA2K fan and just have to have it. I actually haven't even opened anything in the box except the game. The basketball is kinda cool, but I don't feel worth the money.
Great game and significantly better than NBALive.Awesome Game! By angel3030
NBA 2k13 is an awesome game to play. More realistic than previous titles. Passing controlling easier but don't like the new way to alley oop. Being produced by JayZ isn't a bonus as the music is not as good as before and if you don't like JayZ or Kanye or Coldplay or Rhianna then you might wanna turn the music off. Also, how can Mark Jackson announce the games when he is now a coach for Golden State? Need to replace him with Kevin Calabro! The skin-it and basketball and earbuds and downloads are definitely worth the extra money. I think this game just keeps getting batter every year.I brought this as a gift By I have to be honest
This was a present for my husband and he loves this game.plays it with ours kids on his days off. The price is high but you get the game a ball and head phones.
